Send a letter to the BLM opposing efforts to drill on the border of Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument.
At the Task Force we have enjoyed some remarkable victories due to overwhelming public support. Our victory to stop a proposed mine in 2008 was certainly due in large part to the 40,000 public comments submitted regarding the project, the vast majority opposing it. Similarly, it was public pressure that pushed PacificCorp to consider removing the Condit Dam.
