Wolves in Washington

 For the past two years, Washington has been developing the Washington State Gray Wolf Conservation and Management Plan. This plan is more important than ever since the federal government removed wolves from endangered species protection even though wolves are have not yet recovered across their historic range. Wolves are just beginning to return to the forests and watersheds of the Northwest, and the latest research on predators suggests that the return of wolves to the Cascades will help restore biodiversity and ecosystem resilience, both of which are becoming increasingly important in light of climate change. Advocating for a strong Washington Wolf Plan is one of the best opportunities we have to recover wolves in the Central Cascades, and you can help make it happen. Here are some options:
