Condit Dam

After 20 years of work by conservation organizations and their supporters (including the Gifford Pinchot Task Force), Yakama Indian Nation, and PacifiCorp, the 95-year old, 125-foot Condit Dam has been breached.

Hemlock Dam

In 2009, after ten years of advocacy, the Task Force was excited to announce that Hemlock Dam has been removed. Amazingly, steelhead returned to the creek the day after water was returned to the stream channel. Restoration will continue at the site over the next few seasons.

- Exposed for the first time in nearly a century, the bedrock of Trout Creek where Hemlock Reservoir once stood.
